We monitor and research the ongoing activities in Sonoma Valley on properties being purchased in the valley, how this may impact in a positive or disruptive way, the local culture, history, economic stability, and Diversity of Sonoma Valley. 

Self Activate

Wake UP Sonoma is one model of how a community can self-activate, inform itself and the community on large investor activities, and mitigate the risks of culture shift to far right extremism that seems to be prevalent throughout the nation by counteracting policies of hate and intolerance with positive DEI visibility and impact on their communities.

National Concerns

The recent news stories across the country concerning anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation, Christian Nationalism and especially anti-trans legislation have brought this issue to a new level of visibility across the nation as well as here in Sonoma Valley.  

Citizens of Sonoma have therefore asked Wake UP Sonoma for alternatives to the businesses owned and operated by LeFever Mattson companies to support those businesses that are known to be supportive of our LGBTQIA+ community.
